Job description

  • Wee Care Child Development Center in Sanatoga is a licensed childcare center seeking Part-time Teachers for our School Age Summer Program.
  • This is a seasonal position.
  • To be QUALIFIED for this position, we require a high school diploma or GED.
  • Must have two years of experience working with children.
  • Required Shift: Part-time, Mon-Fri, 9:30am-2:30pm Compensation: $15 - $18/hr. based on education and experience Main Job Responsibilities: Assist with all aspects of the camp program in a manner consistent with the philosophy and goals of the center.
  • Implement activities that encourage each child’s growth in the areas of emotion, social, cognitive, creative, and physical development.
  • Take direction, accept constructive criticism, and feedback, and make improvements and changes as necessary for the betterment of the quality of the program.
  • Create and maintain an environment that is clean and safe for all children.
  • Establishing a professional level of rapport with each family to provide quality care for the children.
  • Physical ability to work around small children including sitting, standing, walking, running, and climbing stairs.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. and fulfill all physical requirements of the role.
