About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated Infant/Toddler Teacher to join our Early Head Start program. This role focuses on providing high-quality care and education for young children aged 8 weeks to 3 years, supporting their social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development in a nurturing and engaging environment.

Key Responsibilities

Educational Programming

✔ Plan and implement daily learning activities that foster development ✔ Conduct assessments and share progress with families

Classroom Management

✔Maintain a safe, clean, and engaging classroom environment ✔Ensure daily routines and activities are developmentally appropriate

Family Engagement

✔Strengthen parent-child relationships through regular communication ✔ Encourage family participation in learning and community activities

Qualifications

Required: Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential Preferred: Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field Experience as an Infant/Toddler Teacher (Creative Curriculum experience is a plus!) Valid Adult/Pediatric CPR/FA/AED Certification Strong communication and organizational skills

Additional Requirements

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, kneel, bend, and sit on the floor Ability to manage family crises and maintain professional boundaries Familiarity with ProCare, ChildPlus, Teaching Strategies, ASQ Online, HELP, and HSELOF databases (preferred)
