- Colorado International Language Academy (CILA) is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Part-Time Elementary Spanish Language & Culture Teacher for the 2026–27 school year.
- This position provides Spanish language instruction and cultural enrichment experiences that help students develop language proficiency, cultural awareness, and a love for global learning.
- CILA is a tuition-free public charter school offering language immersion in Spanish, Mandarin, and German.

- Key Responsibilities Teach Spanish language and culture lessons to elementary students Deliver instruction primarily in Spanish to support language acquisition Create engaging, age-appropriate lessons that promote speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills Incorporate cultural experiences, traditions, music, literature, geography, and celebrations from Spanish-speaking countries Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners Assess student learning and provide meaningful feedback Foster a positive, structured, and inclusive learning environment Collaborate with classroom teachers, specialists, and administration Communicate effectively with families regarding student progress and classroom activities Participate in professional development, team meetings, and school-wide events as appropriate
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required Colorado teaching license preferred but not required Fluency in Spanish required (native or near-native proficiency preferred) Experience teaching elementary-aged students preferred Strong classroom management and organizational skills Ability to engage students through interactive and culturally responsive instruction Commitment to collaboration, reflection, and continuous improvement Enthusiasm for working in a multicultural, language-focused environment
