General Summary
We are currently seeking a Part-Time Summer Program Worker in the Youth Mental Health department. The purpose of the Youth Summer Program Staff is to assist youth and families in reduction of psychiatric, social, emotional, environmental and educational problems to increase levels of functioning and work towards social emotional growth.
Hours
Monday - Thursday; 8:00am - 4:00pm. This schedule could vary based on department needs.

Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for transporting clients to/from the program Facilitation of life skills, social emotional, art, and STEM groups Provide community-based support and other daily living skills and activities Work as an integral part of the treatment team to develop, revise, implement and monitor Individual Service Plans in cooperation with additional team and family members of client Communicate with team members/supervisors as needed for case consultations Complete incident reporting as needed, following any appropriate agency procedures Perform other duties as assigned. Specific/Individual Competencies: In process of pursuing a degree in social services or a related field Must possess a high level of patience and understanding in working with this population Organizational Competencies: Demonstrate knowledge of the agency mission, vision, goals and philosophy as well as the policies and procedures. Strives for high client satisfaction by providing leadership and/or assistance to coworkers and clients through the integrated care process. Demonstrate consistent professionalism. Demonstrate teamwork. Abide by the agencies and/or professional code of ethics.
Requirements
Position Qualifications: At minimum, one year of experience working with the youth population; experience with at-risk youth preferred Preference given to those who are working towards a post-secondary degree in social services or a related field Must have a valid driver's license and be able to provide proof of auto insurance
