Join us in our mission as a Youth Specialist & Child Care Worker at Catholic Charities of Community Maternity Services.

We are hiring Youth Specialists at the Farano Center to support youth in a structured, supportive, and therapeutic environment. These are ongoing openings, and we welcome applicants for full-time and evening availability.

  • As the Youth Specialist & Child Care Worker, you will play a pivotal role in individuals' lives, making a significant impact through:
  • Provide daily care, supervision, and emotional support to residents and their children (if applicable)
  • Ensure the health, safety, and welfare of all residents at all times
  • Supervise youth during visits with family members or identified visitors, following Family Plans and case plans
  • Plan and implement a balanced daily routine and group living experiences
  • Provide coverage at any CMS residential program as assigned
  • Transport clients to school, medical appointments, court dates, visitation, or other activities

Youth Specialist & Child Care Worker Minimum Salary

$ 17.00/hour

Youth Specialist & Child Care Worker Maximum Salary

$ 20.00/hour

Youth Specialist & Child Care Worker Schedule: 35 hours/week evening (Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM; includes alternating weekends)

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1 - 3 years of experience of working with a diverse population
  • Valid driver's license
  • Must remain awake and alert during entire shift, including overnight
  • Must remain on shift until next shift arrives and is briefed
  • Must work holiday and weeks when part of the regular schedule
