We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as an Occupational Therapist to provide services in our Birmingham office. The Behavioral Therapy Center is a supportive, close-knit, collaborative team with a focus on positive outcomes for families and maintaining a positive work environment for our staff members.

• DUTIES:
• Work collaboratively with agency professionals to ensure that individuals served on assigned caseload are provided highest quality occupational therapy services available
• Complies with Code of Ethics and demonstrates respect and regard for the dignity of all clients, families, visitors, and fellow employees to ensure a professional, responsible, and courteous environment.
• Administers a comprehensive assessment of individual’s occupational therapy strengths/deficits.
• Provides direct OT intervention for those individual’s determined to be appropriate for services.
• Documents’ treatment in a manner consistent with agency requirements.
• Individualizes treatment for individual needs related to autism and other mental health needs.
• Fulfills professional development requirements and other assignments.

• Abilities:
• 2+ year(s) of experience in mental health, education, behavioral health, or related field.
• Knowledge of Autism, Emotional Disturbance, and other Developmental

• QualificationsEDUCATION/LICENSING/CERTIFICATIONS:
• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
• Licensed Occupational Therapist in the State of Alabama
• Current AL driver’s license and must be insurable through Glenwood’s contracting insurer.
