Qualifications

  • Preschool Teachers $22–$25/hour
  • At least 18 years old + high school diploma/GED
  • PATCH-qualified (or eligible), such as:
  • CDA or
  • Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education (or related field)
  • 6–12 months experience in a licensed childcare/preschool setting
  • Dependable team player with strong communication skills and commitment to ECE

Infant/Toddler Teachers (Caregivers)

  • $19–$21
  • At least 18 with a high school diploma or GED
  • 12–24 months of experience with children under age 3 in a licensed setting
  • Infant/Toddler Training (We can provide all the required training hours!)
  • Nurturing, patient, and dependable team player with a passion for infant and toddler care

Teacher Aides

  • ($17-18.50)
  • At least 18 with a high school diploma or GED
  • Experience working with children in any setting (babysitting, tutoring, coaching, youth programs, etc.) or a strong interest in working with children
  • Kind, patient, and energetic; eager to learn and grow in early childhood education with a willingness to be trained

Not qualified yet / Interested in Growth Opportunities? We have Aide positions available while we help you complete training to meet PATCH [https://www.patchhawaii.org/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/Matrix-2024.pdf]qualifications. We support your growth and cover the cost of your CDA (Child Development Associate) while you gain experience toward a Teacher or Caregiver role.
