Job description
- St.
- Malachy Catholic School, located on the west side of Indianapolis in the growing town of Brownsburg, is a preschool through 8th grade Catholic school with an enrollment of 515 students with two classrooms for each grade level.
- St.
- Malachy is seeking a faith-filled middle school Math teacher licensed to teach algebra and geometry for the 2024-2025 school year.
- The teacher in this position will be responsible for planning and implementing lessons for 6th through 8th grade students.
- The ideal teacher candidate has both a strong knowledge of the Indiana Math Standards as well as current best practices to meet diverse student needs.
- They are able to design and facilitate engaging lessons, along with providing ongoing student support, and create a positive classroom environment with Christ at the center.
- Must have a strong faith and willingness to share that faith with students throughout each subject area taught.
- Candidates should be able to work with grade-level team members, other grade level teachers, and special area teachers, as well as all support staff.
- Must have excellent organization and communication skills while being flexible.
