Job description

PYG Therapy is expanding our pediatric therapy team and is seeking dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) to provide in-home services to children and families throughout Arizona. We welcome both experienced clinicians and those looking to develop their skills within pediatric home health.

What you'll do

As a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant, you will provide treatment services under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist while helping children achieve their communication goals.

Responsibilities

  • include:
  • Deliver speech therapy interventions in the home environment under the direction of a supervising SLP
  • Carry out treatment plans and therapy activities established by the supervising therapist
  • Document patient participation, progress, and outcomes in a timely manner
  • Educate caregivers on strategies and activities that support progress outside of therapy sessions
  • Communicate regularly with supervising therapists regarding patient status and treatment needs
  • Foster positive relationships with patients, caregivers, and community members

  • Custom schedules ranging from approximately 8-25 visits weekly

Required qualifications
