Job description
Summary
The Camp Counselor will work under the supervision of the Lead Counselor. This person will help facilitate the weekly arrival and departure of campers, teachers and special guests. Providing a safe and healthy environment for middle school age children.
Responsibilities
- Help Lead Counselor plan, lead, and implements camp programs for children
- Supervises campers and ensures their safety, development, growth, skill achievement, and general well-being.
- Ensuring cleanliness of the kitchen and camp site.
- Facilitates lesson plans for daily activities.
- Organizes and leads various small and large group activities.
- Knows and understands all emergency procedures associated with the camp program.
- Will help prepare all meals and keep track of dietary restrictions/allergies for all campers.
- Complete any other tasks assigned by Lead Counselor or leadership.

Requirements
