Assistant Teacher

• Assistant Teacher (Preschool) Anacortes Family Center | Boys & Girls Clubs of Skagit County 25–29 hours per week | $20.90–$22.17 DOE/DOQ What if your workday were filled with curiosity, creativity, and the kind of moments that actually matter?
• At our Anacortes Family Center, we're looking for an Assistant Teacher who wants to do more than just "watch kids"-someone who wants to help shape how they see the world.

• You'll work alongside a Lead Teacher and a supportive team to create a preschool environment where children feel safe, valued, and excited to learn.
• Some days are messy.

• In this role, you'll help guide daily routines, support play-based learning, and build strong, caring relationships with children and families.
• You'll be part of those "lightbulb moments" when something finally clicks-and the steady presence that helps kids feel confident enough to try.
• We're looking for someone who is patient, dependable, and genuinely enjoys being around young children.
• You don't need to have years of experience-we can help with training-but you do need a willingness to learn, a positive attitude, and a desire to make a difference.
• You must be at least 21 years old, have a high school diploma or equivalent, and be eligible to work in a licensed early learning setting.
• We provide required training and certifications if needed, along with sick and vacation accrual, paid closure days, and access to a 401(k) plan.
