Preschool Teacher

The Learning Experience – Ashburn is seeking a caring and experienced Preschool Teacher to support children ages 3–5 in a structured classroom environment focused on kindergarten readiness, confidence, and social-emotional development.

This role is ideal for educators who enjoy creating engaging classroom experiences where children build independence, communication skills, and strong early learning foundations through hands-on activities and guided routines.

Key Responsibilities

Lead daily preschool classroom routines and learning activities Support early literacy, math readiness, and problem-solving development Create a safe, organized, and engaging classroom environment Encourage positive social interaction and classroom participation Guide children through learning centers, meals, and classroom transitions Communicate regularly with families regarding classroom progress and activities Collaborate with teaching team members and center leadership Follow Virginia childcare licensing and safety requirements

Qualifications

Prior childcare or preschool classroom experience required CDA preferred but not required Strong communication and classroom management skills Reliable, nurturing, and team-oriented approach Must meet Virginia childcare licensing requirements
