- We are seeking a reliable, caring, child safety driven and engaging part-time nanny to care for our 7-month-old son. If you love early childhood development, thrive in a dynamic environment, and are looking for a meaningful, long-term role, we would love to connect!
- Schedule & Commitment
- Hours: Averages 20 hours per week (ranging from 10 to 30 hours depending on the week).
- Days: Typically spread over 1–3 weekdays, with standard hours around 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM. No overnights are required (though a rare, optional overnight request could happen).
- Flexibility: Because one parent works shift work in healthcare, our schedule fluctuates week to week. To support your planning, you will receive your schedule at least 3–4 weeks in advance.
- Home Dynamic: One parent works from home most days (typically 4 out of 5 days).
- Commitment: We are looking for a nanny who can make a minimum 1-year commitment to our family.
- Key Responsibilities
- Provide attentive, loving, and safe care for our infant.
- Maintain and follow established feeding, nap, and play routines.
- Engage in age-appropriate, screen-free developmental activities.
- Handle light housekeeping related strictly to the child (washing bottles, tidying toys, etc.).
- Our Ideal Candidate
- Experienced: Has a strong background in infant care.
- Philosophically Aligned: Familiar with, or genuinely interested in, a Montessori-style approach to early learning.
- Dog Lover: Comfortable with our very friendly, 70 lb, 3-year-old male Golden Retriever.
- Professional & Prepared: Dependable, flexible, excellent at communication, and a non-smoker.
- Health & Safety Conscious: CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain). Because one parent works in healthcare, candidates must be up to date on vaccinations, including COVID-19 and the annual flu shot.
