Job summary
The Part-Time Summer Camp Aide at St. Ann Catholic School supports the supervision and care of children participating in the summer camp program. This role helps create a safe, engaging, and faith-centered environment where students can learn, play, and grow while reflecting the values of Catholic education.
- Job responsibilities
- Assist in supervising children during daily camp activities, including games, crafts, and outdoor play
- Support the implementation of age-appropriate and engaging camp programming
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized camp environment
- Monitor student behavior and encourage positive interactions and teamwork
- Assist with arrival, dismissal, and transitions between activities
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all campers at all times
- Communicate effectively with camp staff regarding any concerns or incidents
- Follow school policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
- Model respectful behavior and Christian values in all interactions
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Previous experience working with children preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong communication, patience, and interpersonal skills
- Reliable, responsible, and attentive to detail
