  • Category: Employment ServicesAs a Part-Time Employment Trainer, you will help facilitate participants in the learning of new job duties at their work sites. This position is best suited for someone who values making a difference in the lives of others, as well as their community. Patience and good communication skills are very important in this role as well. SCHEDULE AND COMPENSATION $16/hr Part-Time - Around 28 hours/week Flexible Scheduling; Most shifts are Monday-Friday between 8am-4pm RESPONSIBILITIES Work one-on-one with participants at their work site Help participants learn work skills such as punctuality, appropriate dress, and following directions to their individual employment goals. Provide on-the-job support by helping them adjust to a new worksite, guiding them in learning and understanding their job duties, supplementing their work as necessary, and systematically fading direct support. Occasionally provide transportation for participants to work, while also encouraging them to learn about other forms of transportation, and pedestrian safety skills, and assist with wheelchairs.
