Job Description

The Learning Experience – Clinton Hill (TLE – Clinton Hill) is seeking candidates for Lead Teachers for our play-based early childhood development center in the Clinton Hill neighborhood of Brooklyn serving children from six weeks to five years of age.

Full-Time Staff Benefits (35-40 hours a week)

Principal Areas of Responsibility

Encourage positive student engagement using play-based activities to develop all aspects of their mental, physical, and social beings. Co-teach alongside staff members to develop and execute lesson plans focusing on social and emotional learning, curriculum themes, indoor and outdoor play, the arts and hands-on experiences Perform all duties related to childcare including diapering, feeding, cleaning, and nurturing. Perform additional duties as assigned by management as per program needs.

Required Credentials

Associates or Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education or Related Field and/or 5 years experience as a teacher for children six weeks to 24 months New York State Teacher's Certification (Birth - 2nd or elementary), if applicable
