Responsibilities

  • Lead classroom activities and daily routines for preschool-aged children
  • Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment
  • Implement our proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum® in a fun and age-appropriate way
  • Support children’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom
  • Strong classroom management
  • Communicate with families regarding daily activities and developmental progress
  • Ensure compliance with all state licensing and safety requirements

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 2+ years experience with preschool aged children
  • CDA, ECE coursework, or Early Childhood Education degree preferred
  • Passion for working with young children
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills
  • Must meet all New Jersey state licensing requirements for childcare staff
