Job description
This tutor will help our PTA students as they prepare to take their exam. Must meet requirements listed below along with the ability to connect and guide our students
Requirements
- Graduate of a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Successful completion of the PTA NPTE
- Current NYS license to practice as a PTA
- Demonstrated strong foundational knowledge in PTA content areas, including: musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, cardiopulmonary, therapeutic exercise, modalities and assistive devices.
- Ability to clearly explain PTA concepts using entry-level clinical reasoning
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and confidence with graduates preparing for licensure
- Professional behavior consistent with PTA program and licensure expectations
Hourly Rate: $25 per hour
