  • International Program Coordinator Rancho Christian School and Church Position: International Program Coordinator Supervisor: Director of International Programs/ School Administration Classification: Non-Exempt - Part-Time (approx. 20 hours per week) Description: The Part-Time International Program Coordinator supports the daily operations and student services of the International Program. This position assists with student onboarding, communication, program coordination, and community integration to ensure international students feel supported academically, socially, and culturally. The coordinator works closely with the Director of International Programs and school departments to enhance the international student experience and support program growth. Spiritual Qualifications: Demonstrate a passion for Christ and his Kingdom through personal spiritual discipline and public ministry. Seeks to grow in that relationship with Christ through personal spiritual discipline, education, accountability, and service to His Kingdom Professional Qualifications: Fluency in both Mandarin Chinese and English (spoken and written) required. Bachelor’s degree preferred Experience in education, student services, international programs, or administration preferred Strong intercultural communication skills Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work collaboratively with students, families, and staff. Primary Responsibilities: Student Support & Program Coordination Serve as a support contact for international students and families. Assist with new student onboarding and orientation activities. Provide cultural transition support and guidance. Coordinate student check-ins and assist with resolving daily concerns. Support international student activities and community-building events. Admissions & Enrollment Support Assist with international admissions follow-up and enrollment communication. Help collect application materials and maintain student records. Communicate with families and educational partners as directed. Support recruitment events, virtual meetings, or campus visits when needed. Documentation & Program Support Assist with tracking student documentation such as insurance verification, guardianship forms, and required school paperwork. Maintain organized student files and program records. Support program administration and scheduling needs. Host Family & Boarding Communication Help coordinate communication with host families, dorm parents, and guardians.
  • Assist with student placement updates and follow-up communication. Support resolution of housing-related questions alongside program leadership. Communication & Community Engagement Serve as liaison between international students and school offices. Assist with parent communication and culturally responsive outreach. Help plan and support: International Student Orientation Cultural celebrations and International Day Parent meetings,Student leadership and engagement activities Preferred Skills Experience working with international students or in a school environment. Event coordination or student programming experience. Familiarity with student information systems (e.g., Blackbaud). Other Expectations: Actively and collaboratively participate as a member of the staff team. Handle sensitive information professionally and discreetly. Keep phone and email communications responsive. Perform all other duties as assigned.
