Wellness Coordinator On Site | Davie, FL | Part-Time | 3pm-8pm Mental Health Technician (MHT) — On Site | Davie, FL | Part-Time | 3pm–8pm

About the Role

You'll be the steady, caring presence that keeps our adolescent program running. This is a hands-on, client-facing role working directly with teens ages 13–17 in our PHP/IOP mental health program. If you're calm under pressure, good with kids, and looking to build experience in behavioral health — this role is for you. Backgrounds that translate: Youth Work · Education · Behavioral Health · Childcare · Community Services What You'll Do Supervise and support adolescent clients during sessions, transitions, and breaks Respond to escalated behavior using trauma-informed and de-escalation techniques Greet families at drop-off and pick-up with warmth and professionalism Handle front desk duties: phones, attendance, sign-in/out Complete same-day documentation including wellness checks and incident reports Escalate safety concerns and clinical flags to the clinical team promptly What We're Looking For Experience with teens in any setting — school, camp, childcare, or community Bilingual: English and Spanish required Calm, consistent, and professional under pressure Knows when to escalate — never acts outside a non-clinical role Pursuing or holding a degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field preferred; experience considered AWA is an adolescent mental health organization running PHP and IOP programs across South Florida — serving teens and families at their most critical moments.
