Position Overview We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Early Preschool Teacher to join our team, working with our lively and curious 2-year-olds. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about early childhood education, committed to nurturing young minds, and skilled at guiding children through one of the most important stages of development with patience, creativity, and a good sense of humor.

Key Responsibilities

Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment for 2-year-old children Plan and implement age-appropriate lessons and activities that support social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development Encourage language development, independence, and positive behavior through structured and play-based learning Manage classroom routines including meals, nap time, diapering/toileting, and transitions Build strong, positive relationships with children, families, and team members Observe and assess children’s development, maintaining accurate records and sharing progress with parents Handle challenging behaviors with patience, consistency, and understanding, especially with strong-willed personalities

Qualifications

Previous experience working with toddlers (ages 2–3) in a childcare or preschool setting Strong understanding of early childhood development Ability to manage a classroom with energy, structure, and warmth Proven experience working with spirited, expressive, children is a must Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Patience, flexibility, and a genuine love for working with young children

Preferred Qualifications

CDA, Associate’s, or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) What We’re Looking For Someone who doesn’t just “watch” children, but teaches, guides, and inspires them.
