The School Secretary provides administrative and clerical support to school staff, students, and families. This role is responsible for maintaining office operations, managing communications, and supporting the daily functioning of the school. Duties and Responsibilities

Greet students, staff, parents, and visitors professionally and courteously. Answer phones, respond to emails, and manage daily communications. Maintain student records, attendance logs, and other required documentation. Schedule appointments, meetings, and events for school administrators. Prepare, edit, and distribute correspondence, reports, and other documents as needed. Assist with enrollment, registration, and student records management. Monitor office supplies and maintain organized filing systems. Support staff and administrators with clerical tasks and school-related projects. Maintain confidentiality and comply with FERPA and district policies. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, or other administrative software.
