Description

Support and help manage an attractive, warm and challenging learning environment for Head Start children, incorporating appropriate early intervention, learning and care activities which meet the needs of the group as well as those of individual children and families. Assist the teacher in effectively implementing the MET Head Start education curriculum. Strong desire to succeed. Patient, able to resolve conflicts, gentle, loving, kind, creative, and resourceful.

Requirements

Applicant will possess a High School Diploma or GED. Head Start experience preferred. Detail and multi-task oriented. Strong organizational, interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills. Must be able to cope with stress. Time spent in strenuous physical activity, lifting up to 50 lbs.

Prior to date of hire and thorough employment, certifications of the following are required: valid driver's license, proof of current auto insurance, access to reliable transportation, and CPR/First Aid certification.
