- Schedule: 2–3 days per week, up to 8 hours/day; up to 36 weeks per school year
Key responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations within required timelines
- Provide individual and group therapy services aligned with student IEPs
- Attend eligibility, IEP, and special education meetings as required
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and weekly reports
- Collaborate with special education staff, teachers, parents, and administrators
- Provide consultation and training to school staff and parents as requested
- Recommend therapeutic equipment and interventions to support student performance
Required qualifications
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or higher degree in Occupational Therapy (ACOTE-accredited program)
- Current, unrestricted U.S. state license to practice Occupational Therapy
- Current NBCOT certification
- Minimum two (2) years of experience as an Occupational Therapist (school-based preferred)
