Job description
Autism Center of Excellence is hiring a Spanish-Speaking Behavior Technician (BT) / Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for our Durham, NC clinic. We are seeking a compassionate and energetic bilingual professional to support children with autism in a structured clinic-based setting. This position is ideal for someone passionate about working with children and interested in building a long-term career in the ABA field.
Minimum Required Availability: Monday–Friday | 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Additional Hours Available
Current opportunities may allow expansion up to 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM, with potential to build into a full-time schedule over time.

Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 ABA therapy to children with autism under BCBA supervision
- Implement individualized treatment plans and behavior support strategies
- Collect session data accurately and consistently
- Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding client progress
- Maintain professionalism and ensure a safe, engaging therapy environment
- Participate in required trainings and team meetings
Requirements
- Fluent Spanish speaking skills required
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must have prior childcare, education, or child-related experience
- RBT certification preferred but not required
- Entry-level candidates welcome — paid training provided
- Must demonstrate professionalism, reliability, and strong communication skills
- Passion for working with children with autism and developmental needs
