  • DUTIES: Assists in developing and upholding athletic vision, mission statement, and program philosophy while cultivating relationships within the FCDS community Reports regularly to Head Athletic Trainer Assist with coordination of inventory and ordering of all Athletic Training room supplies and equipment Assist with and be available for Medical Coverage of all athletic contests, scheduled practices, and tournaments Responsible for supervision of Student Athletic Training interns Assist with communication and coordination with physicians and physical therapists regarding the return to play of athletes post-incident or surgery to assist in the athlete's transition back to competitive athletics Assist with in-house rehabilitation and pre-conditioning of injured athletes when in-season and the scheduling of in-house rehabilitation opportunities for those athletes during the off-season and summer months Responsible for some game operations including coordinating set-ups and take-downs of necessary medical supplies including but not limited to medical supply kits and making water available Assist with the maintenance and reconditioning of all protective equipment inventory Coordinates medical coverage (including communication with other schools, providing a medical supply kit, and necessary water) for all travel of FCDS teams and all incoming opponents Performs other duties as assigned by the
