As a Summer Assistant Teacher / Floater, you will support multiple classrooms and work alongside lead teachers to help create a safe, engaging, and nurturing learning environment for young children.
Position Details
Seasonal summer position Full-time schedule
9:00 AM – 6:00 PM Experience working in a licensed childcare center Opportunity to gain hands-on classroom experience with preschool-aged children Great fit for elementary education majors or students exploring careers in teaching
Responsibilities
Assist teachers with classroom activities and transitions Support supervision of children to ensure safety at all times Help prepare materials for learning centers and projects Step into classrooms as needed throughout the school Encourage positive interactions and engagement with children Maintain cleanliness and organization of classroom spaces
