  • Job Duties

Plan and deliver engaging, standards‑based instruction aligned with Archdiocesan and state guidelines Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners Use a variety of instructional strategies, assessments, and technology to support student learning Maintain accurate and timely records of student progress and grades Provide regular feedback to students and communicate academic progress to parents

Classroom Environment & Student Development

Establish and maintain a structured, respectful, and faith‑centered classroom environment Promote student responsibility, accountability, and positive behavior Support the social and emotional development of students Address behavioral concerns promptly and in alignment with school policies

Faith Formation & Catholic Identity

Integrate Catholic teachings and values into all aspects of instruction and classroom life Participate in school liturgies, prayer services, and sacramental preparation as appropriate Model Christian behavior and values in all interactions Support student spiritual development through prayer and formation opportunities

Collaboration & Communication

Communicate regularly and professionally with parents and guardians Collaborate with grade‑level teams, support staff, and administration Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school events Work with specialists, aides, and support personnel to meet student needs

Professional Responsibilities

Fulfill all contractual obligations including attendance and supervision duties Maintain appropriate certification and complete required Archdiocesan training Demonstrate professionalism in all interactions with students, families, and colleagues Support the mission, policies, and leadership of St. Peter Parish and School

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field required

Licensing / Certification

Valid Missouri teaching certification required

Experience: Teaching experience preferred
