Plan and lead age-appropriate sports practice sessions while teaching fundamental skills and techniques. Foster teamwork, sportsmanship, and ensure the safety and well-being of all youth participants.
Candidates should have a passion for working with youth and knowledge of sports coaching principles. A background check is required, and previous coaching or playing experience is preferred.
1. Plan and lead engaging and age-appropriate practice sessions. 2. Teach fundamental sports skills and techniques. 3. Promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and fair play. 4. Provide encouragement and support to all players. 5. Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants. 6. Communicate effectively with players, parents, and other coaches. 7. Attend training sessions and meetings as required. 8. Uphold the values and mission of the organization.
1. Passion for working with youth and promoting a healthy lifestyle. 2. Knowledge of the sport and coaching principles. 3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 4. Patience, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude. 5. Ability to motivate and inspire young athletes. 6. Previous coaching or playing experience is preferred but not required. 7. Must pass the required background check.
