PediaPlex is a collaborative, multidisciplinary pediatric therapy center providing ABA therapy, speech therapy, occupational therapy, and feeding support to children and families across the DFW area. We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist, Registered (OTR) who is passionate about supporting children’s development and building functional independence. The OT is responsible for evaluating, planning, and delivering individualized, evidence-based services to pediatric clients in clinic and community-based settings. This role requires strong clinical judgment, independent treatment planning, and collaboration with families and interdisciplinary teams in a supportive, mission-driven environment!

Duties

Conduct pediatric occupational therapy evaluations using standardized assessments and clinical observation Develop, implement, and adjust individualized plans of care based on clinical judgment and progress Provide direct OT services in clinic and/or community-based settings Address fine motor, gross motor, sensory processing, self-care, emotional regulation, play, and daily living skills Implement evidence-based interventions to promote independence and functional participation Adapt therapeutic activities based on child response, progress, and environment Complete accurate, timely documentation in compliance with clinic standards and timelines Maintain compliant electronic records including evaluations, progress reports, and discharges Collaborate with families and a multidisciplinary team to support skill carryover and treatment goals Demonstrate flexibility with scheduling, clinic locations, and service delivery needs, including travel as required

Qualifications

Master’s degree (or higher) in Occupational Therapy. Current Texas Occupational Therapy License in good standing. Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment. Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and organizational skills. Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between clinic locations.

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds. Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, kneel, crawl, and transition positions frequently during therapy sessions. Adequate vision and hearing to observe behavior, assess performance, and support therapy delivery. Ability to use computers, tablets, and therapy materials effectively for documentation and treatment.
