ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY Eaglewings is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide skills instruction and behavior reduction protocols based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles for students with autism, emotional disabilities, and developmental disabilities in Frederick County Public Schools.

Required: High School diploma or GED equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, Special Education, or related field preferred) Two years’ experience in a school setting working with students with behavior challenges, including students with Autism, Emotional Disabilities, and developmental disabilities Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification with annual renewal, or desire to work toward RBT certification KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Provide direct student instruction in one-on-one and group settings using intensive teaching and natural environment teaching Follow prescribed behavior skills acquisition and behavior change protocols Collect, record, and summarize data on observable student behavior Assist with skill acquisition and behavioral assessments; collect data on all programming Document interventions, progress data, and session notes Assist with staff training on individualized treatment and behavior change protocols through modeling and fidelity checks Immediately report student incidents, variances, or complaints to the teacher Communicate with staff regarding student progress as instructed by the teacher Collaborate with school teams and attend IEP meetings as necessary Participate in and present in-service programs as assigned WHY EAGLEWINGS?
