Eaglewings Allied Health Staffing Agency LLC is hiring Special Education Teachers (including Mainstream, Specialized/Self-Contained Programs, Deaf and Hard of Hearing, Teachers of the Visually Impaired, Adapted Physical Education, and substitute tele-practitioners) for placements within Frederick County Public Schools.

Qualifications
Required: Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution Eligible for a Maryland Teaching Certificate that is age/grade appropriate with endorsement in special education Preferred: Experience teaching students with diverse learning needs in a public school setting Experience with IEP development and case management KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Provide for individual needs and interests of students through effective daily lesson planning Create a classroom environment conducive to learning with effective use of instructional time Demonstrate the use of a variety of teaching techniques and instructional resources to implement approved curriculum Use evaluation effectively to promote student growth and development intellectually, physically, socially, and emotionally Demonstrate effective communication skills and positive interpersonal relationships with students, parents, staff, and community Guide the learning process toward school system goals following board policies and administrative procedures Supervise students in a variety of school settings Maintain appropriate records and monitor compliance with state and local requirements Communicate evaluation summaries in written and verbal form Elicit parent and staff participation in development of the IEP Participate in the IEP Team process Provide case management for special education students WHY EAGLEWINGS?
