Position Summary

Supports group and remote programming as a part of Child Life and Creative Arts Therapies special events and programming team, which comprises of the Child Life Center, Teen Lounge and Sibling Care. Offers developmentally appropriate activities to foster normalization and promote healing for patients and their families. Position Requirements: Associate's Degree in Child Development or Early Childhood Education required. Bachelor's Degree preferred. 2+ years experience working with children and families required. 1+ years experience working with children and families in a healthcare setting preferred. Experience with patient assessment and documentation preferred. Active role in development and coordination of special events programs. Proficient in verbal and written communication. Technology/closed circuit television programming. First shift coverage (Monday-Friday). BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider - American Heart Association/American Red Cross/National Safety Council required.
