- Category: Program/Youth Sports/AdultEmbark on a Journey of Impactful Adventure The Teen Programming Activity Instructor supports the implementation of the Y After Dark program by assisting the Director of Teen Development in facilitating engaging, safe, and inclusive activities for teens. Program activities include supervision of spaces such as the basketball gym, board game stations, and craft activity areas. This role helps create a welcoming environment where youth can socialize, build connections, and participate in structured recreational and enrichment activities. Who Are We? Leads with enthusiasm and positive motivation in program. Manage all equipment to ensure safety. Maintains a clean and risk-free environment. Ensures all children are picked up by a parent. Promotes other YMCA programs by handing out brochures, answering questions, or referral to appropriate person. Ensures compliance with all YGBW policies and standard operating procedures. Performs other related duties as assigned. QualificationsWhat You'll Need Must be 15 years of age or older Must be available Saturday evenings Demonstrate ability to develop and teach skills Prior knowledge and at least 1 year of experience in the program area Ability to effectively use technology for programmatic needs Obtain and maintain all new hire certifications and trainings within 90 days of hire Work Conditions and Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
