A Day in the life of a BCBA Key Responsibilities as a BCBA
- Develop and oversee ABA treatment plans as a BCBA
- Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) and Functional Analyses (FA)
- Create Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP)
- Supervise and train Behavior Technicians (BT/RBT) under BCBA guidance
- Monitor progress and adjust programs based on data
- Collaborate with families and interdisciplinary teams
- What you bring to the table BCBA Qualifications
- Active BCBA certification required
- Master’s degree in ABA, Psychology, Education, or related field
- Experience with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and ABA therapy
- Strong leadership and communication skills expected of a BCBA
- Ability to travel between locations
