  • Summary: As a mother cares for their newborn baby, an Inpatient Lactation Consultant will serve as a breastfeeding expert. You will develop breastfeeding goals and care plans with the mother and families. Through the plan, you will work with the patients to evaluate their response to care. In this role, you lead education and quality improvement initiatives related to breastfeeding and provide educational materials and training for health care professionals on breastfeeding and lactation.
