  • Job Summary The Student Support Paraprofessional provides 1 to 1, IEP related services, and directly attends to certain specified needs of the student.
  • Working under the supervision of certified staff, the Paraprofessional provides observation and monitoring of assigned students to support learning, ensure safety and prevent injury.
  • Coaches a student towards established goals which increase academic success and decrease behavioral disruptions.
  • Works collaboratively with assigned teachers, clinicians and other support staff.
  • This position is part-time, 30 hrs/week, no benefits.

Schedule

  • part time, Monday

Previous experience working with children and/or adolescents in an educational or clinical setting preferred High School diploma or GED required Familiarity with behavior management techniques and procedures Effective communication skills
