Brentwood, Tennessee - Brentwood, TN 37027Currey Ingram Academy is seeking a dynamic and experienced Middle School English-Language Arts (ELA) Teacher to join our dedicated faculty for the 2026–2027 school year. The ideal candidate is a passionate educator with a strong background in all components of structured literacy and/or Special Education and a commitment to helping students grow as confident and capable learners. This full-time position includes teaching ELA for grades 5–8, which includes explicit instruction in active reading strategies, vocabulary, word recognition, written expression, grammar, and spelling / morphology. The successful candidate will demonstrate enthusiasm for differentiating instruction and fostering a collaborative, student-centered classroom environment. In addition, candidates should be eager to work with colleagues to design and implement evidence-based instructional practices, provide individualized academic support, and contribute to the broader school community through advisory, extracurricular involvement, and/or committee work. Currey Ingram Academy is a co-ed, college-preparatory day and boarding school (JK–12 for day; 9–12 for boarding) located in beautiful Brentwood, TN.
