- AMS is seeking a passionate and data-driven Middle School Math Teacher for 5th and 6th Grades to deliver rigorous, standards-aligned instruction that fosters scientific inquiry, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

- Key Responsibilities Instruction & Student Achievement Deliver rigorous, standards-aligned science instruction aligned to AMS curriculum frameworks.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of students performing above and below grade level.
- Use formative and summative assessment data to guide instructional planning and interventions.
- Foster inquiry-based learning and hands-on scientific exploration.
- Classroom Culture & Student Support Establish and maintain a structured, positive, and high-expectations classroom environment.
- Implement PBIS and preventative intervention strategies.
- Support students’ academic, behavioral, and social-emotional development.
- Collaboration & Professional Growth Participate in weekly professional development and professional learning communities.
- Collaborate with grade-level teams and instructional leaders to strengthen instructional practices.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the campus.
- Family Engagement Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress.
- Lead parent-teacher conferences and maintain strong home-school partnerships.
Minimum Qualifications
Candidates must meet one of the following requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Math or a related field OR Valid Arizona teaching certification in a relevant subject area Additionally, candidates must: Demonstrate strong classroom management skills Pass required background checks and obtain an IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card Demonstrate commitment to serving Title I and multilingual communities Show strong analytical skills and enthusiasm for data-driven instruction Exhibit collaboration, professionalism, and initiative in a team-based environment Compensation & Benefits AMS offers a competitive compensation and benefits package designed to support professional growth and long-term career success.
