Job description
Adelphi is seeking Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to provide school-based services for students within a school in Tillamook, Oregon. The Speech-Language Pathologist will deliver services aligned with students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) using a variety of service delivery models, including consultative, push-in, and pull-out support, in collaboration with educational teams.

Requirements
- Active Oregon licensure through the Oregon Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology.
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Pediatric experience required; school-based experience preferred.
- Experience working with children with diverse communication needs and disabilities.
- Strong understanding of IEP processes, evaluations, and service delivery models.
- Valid driver’s license, and reliable transportation
- Ability to work on-site only (no teletherapy).
Responsibilities
- Provide speech and language therapy services aligned with student IEP goals.
- Deliver services using a continuum of models including consultative, push-in (classroom-based), and pull-out interventions.
- Evaluate, screen, and identify communication disorders including articulation, fluency, voice, and language impairments.
- Participate in multidisciplinary teams for evaluation, eligibility, and service planning.
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and staff to support access to curriculum and language development.
- Develop and implement evidence-based interventions tailored to student needs.
- Support literacy development across listening, speaking, reading, and writing domains.
- Utilize and support augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems when appropriate.
- Maintain accurate documentation, including evaluations, progress reports, and IEP records.
- Participate in IEP meetings, school team meetings, and professional development activities.
- Provide consultation and training to staff regarding communication strategies.
- Conduct hearing screenings as needed.
- Ensure compliance with FERPA, IDEA, and all applicable regulations.
- Travel between school sites as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
