- Purpose: The Substitute Teacher works in partnership with teaching teams to provide responsive support across classrooms. This role helps ensure a warm, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environment for all children by actively engaging in the daily rhythm of the classroom, fostering meaningful relationships, and supporting the implementation of curriculum. The Substitute Teacher collaborates with colleagues to uphold the school’s values and create a positive, inclusive classroom community. Qualifications
Education & Experience Minimum 1 year of experience in an early childhood or early elementary education setting Demonstrated interest in continued professional growth and learning 12 ECE Units Additional Requirements Up to Date Mandated Reporter Training Certificate Health screening and TB test Immunization records (MMR, Tdap, and Influenza) Pediatric CPR/First Aid Completion of all required Community Care Licensing (CCLD) paperwork
