Make an Impact. Chelsea Piers is seeking a passionate and dedicated Lead Early Childhood Teacher to join our CP Kids Early Learning Center team. In this full-time role, you will lead a classroom of children from infant age to 5 years old, creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment where learning comes to life through play. This is an exciting opportunity for an educator who thrives on creativity, collaboration, and connection. You will play a key role in shaping early childhood experiences, supporting developmental milestones while building meaningful relationships with both children and families. Our CP Kids Daycare and Preschool offers a unique learning environment, featuring nine vibrant classrooms and access to world-class athletic facilities, creating unmatched opportunities for movement-based learning, exploration, and fun. Primary Responsibilities Design and implement a dynamic, creative, and age-appropriate curriculum Lead and support Assistant Teachers, fostering a collaborative classroom environment Engage with children throughout the day through developmentally appropriate play and structured activities Maintain consistent, thoughtful communication with parents regarding each child’s development (verbal and written) Plan and lead daily gross motor activities to support physical development Organize and manage daily classroom schedules and routines Collaborate effectively with team members across the Early Learning Center Document and share weekly evidence of learning (activities, projects, photos, etc.)

  • Schedule: Full-Time; Monday-Friday; daycare hours are 7:30am-6:00pm – you will work five 8-hour shifts within this time frame
