Job Duties

Provide academic coaching and career coaching to EOC program participants Present financial literacy workshops and provide support through the financial aid process Assist with activities and the implementation of workshops Coordinate outreach with campus and community partners Act as a liaison between program participants and education partners, as needed Provide guidance in post-secondary school entry and entry into a GED program Maintain proper documentation of program participants Assist program participants with the necessary paperwork to pursue educational goals

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Student Affairs, Education, Social Science, or related field (Master’s degree preferred); strong written and verbal communication skills; excellent organizational skills; proficiency with common computer applications, including Word, Access, PowerPoint, and Excel. The preferred candidate will also possess experience in educational opportunity programs, an understanding of intrusive advising, and a willingness to assist at-risk adult students, as well as experience working with minority, low-income, first-generation, and students with disabilities.
