Currently, The Agnes Irwin School is seeking a MS History & Social Sciences Long Term Substitute for the fall of the 2026-2027 academic year. Responsibilities
include, but are not limited to: Teach four sections of Middle School history courses Implement current curriculum and contribute to its ongoing development Prepare course materials Maintain student attendance and grade records Evaluate and grade student work Meet individually with students during Office Hours and planning periods Inform parents and Division Director of students’ progress through written reports and conferences Create and maintain a caring, safe environment conducive to students doing their best work Participate in the life of the school by serving as an MS or US advisor and/or club sponsor, as necessary Participate in all staff meetings, assemblies, and other required school functions, including occasional evening or weekend events Work constructively with parents and colleagues Attend conferences, workshops, and other professional development opportunities, and participate in the faculty evaluation process Assume other duties as assigned
