CE ISHS Curriculum Development Teacher (part-time contracted) CE ISHS Curriculum Development Teacher, (f /n/a/ Author) works under specific contractual assignment(s), and develops original, innovative and relevant curriculum and learning experiences that will reach both domestic and international High School students. This content includes but is not limited to syllabi (course description, course objectives/outcomes, course methodology, grading criterial, grade computation, course policies), course materials, and quiz questions and answers. What you’ll be doing as a ISHS Curriculum Dev Teacher: Creation of Course Curriculum (80%) Outline - Per contract create an outline for the scope and sequence of the course by modules, lessons and assignments. In conjunction with State and National Standards Curse Content – Per contract creates course content for the scope and sequence of the course modules, including lesson materials, assignments, study guides, exam and quiz questions. Submits content for weekly lessons that will be built in Canvas by the designer Verifies the material created matches the standards outlined. Reviews final modules for accuracy. Communication and Collaboration (10%) Collaborate and stay in contact with the course designer until the outline is satisfactory Meet weekly with the Instructional Designer to collaborate on the content. Timeline, Dependability, Expectations and Complexity (5%) Meets agreed upon and contracted deadlines for satisfactory completion Unless stated otherwise HS courses are written an eight
  • grade reading level and Middle School Courses are written on a sixth-grade level Course Curriculum must be original content from professional expertise Content created will be the sole property of BYU ISHS Miscellaneous (5%)
