We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate lead teacher for our infant room. What You’ll Do
- Lead and manage a classroom in compliance with Illinois DCFS licensing requirements
- Create and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans and daily routines
- Foster secure attachments through responsive, nurturing care
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment
- Supervise and mentor assistant teachers in the classroom
- Observe, document, and support infant developmental milestones
- Communicate regularly and professionally with families
- Ensure all health, safety, and sanitation procedures are followed
- What We’re Looking For
- Prior experience working with in a licensed childcare setting
- Meets Illinois DCFS qualifications for Lead Teacher (education and experience)
- Strong understanding of early childhood development and best practices
- Warm, patient, and nurturing teaching style
- Dependable, organized, and confident in classroom leadership
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
