Job description

- As a Certified School Nurse at New Story Schools, you will play a key role in promoting student health and safety.
- You’ll oversee medication management, provide direct care, and collaborate with families and school teams to create a healthy, supportive learning environment for every child.
- This is a PRN position.
- What You’ll Need Current Pennsylvania Certified School Nurse certification Experience providing nursing services to children Knowledge of medical conditions, treatment, and school health regulations Strong communication and documentation skills Ability to remain calm and effective during medical or behavioral emergencies What You’ll Do Provide direct care, first aid, and emergency medical response for students Manage medication administration, documentation, and physician communication Develop and monitor individualized health plans for students with medical needs Educate staff and families on health procedures, safety, and infection control Collaborate with school teams to promote health, wellness, and safety standards New Story Schools is an equal opportunity employer, committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
