Job description

Overview The Office Manager is responsible for clerical and administrative support to the NYSCAS Sonography Program Director, Clinical Coordinator, and other senior officials. The Office Manager will also provide support to the students of NYSCAS Sonography Program and work in tandem with the Administrative Assistant/Office Manager of the Machon L’Parnasa Sonography Program, as appropriate.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Answering phones to assist or direct callers accordingly Meet and greet visitors Scheduling meetings Assisting students Creating and updating documents Creating semester calendars Planning program events Periodic proctoring of exams Assisting with purchasing of Program equipment and supplies Liaising between the Program Director and the students Communicate effectively with students, faculty, staff, and clinical instructors Maintain student confidentiality at all times Assist with student admissions process (interview scheduling, liaising with the Admissions team to streamline application process, etc.) Liaising with other administrative offices, such as Financial Aid, Bursar, and Registrar Maintaining student files (registration, clinical documents, FERPA, etc.) Photocopying Other basic office work Other administrative tasks upon request

Qualifications

Education/Experience Associate's degree required, bachelor's degree preferred Minimum 2 years work experience in higher education administration. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Must be organized, have strong communication skills, take initiative, be self-motivated, and be able to function effectively in a team. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, & Outlook. Travel As needed (minimal) Working Conditions On-campus (non-remote) Maximum Salary USD $60,000.00/Yr. Minimum Salary USD $48,000.00/Yr.
