- Range: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 Salary/yearAmerican Academy (AA) is accepting applications for K-5th literacy/ability grouping instructors for the 2026-27 school year. AA teachers work in teams, planning together and working together to ensure that every student in each grade receives the same great educational experience. Ability grouping teachers teach reading groups for two to three different grades (working with multiple grade-level teams) as well as one section of math. The reading groups are typically small and require intensive, data-driven, literacy instruction.
