To provide behavior support and assistance to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to enable them to live valued lives in the community.
Qualifications
Must successfully complete the required pre-employment Background and Drug Screenings Must possess a valid Driver's License with all necessary endorsements and have a minimum of 3 years of driving experience. Must possess basic computer skills Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology or a related field of study from an accredited program with an emphasis on applied behavior analysis (Master’s Degree is preferred) Must possess state certification as a behavior analyst (CBA) Experience working with people with intellectual/developmental disabilities is preferred Essential Functions: Performs a functional behavioral assessment within (30) days of admission according to regulatory requirements and service authorizations Develops behavior plan and obtains approval from designated regulatory authorities according to the individual’s needs Works positively and collaboratively with all disciplines and team members to gather input and ensure all elements in the individual’s plan are covered Ensures that all required behavior documentation and reports are reviewed, completed and submitted in a timely manner Ensures competency-based training is provided to staff and other support members in both residential and non-residential settings Ensures all staff and behavioral monitoring and documentation are completed according to regulatory requirements Performs all other duties as assigned SR97A12 This position will remain open until filled.
